Cedar Hill ISD to Host Advanced Academics Night on Thursday

(CEDAR HILL, TEXAS) The Cedar Hill Impartial Faculty District Board of Trustees accepted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Texas A&M College-Commerce that may enhance entry to training for CHISD students and workers.

Texas A&M Commerce will present monetary assist to eligible CHISD graduating seniors and eligible CHISD workers members, by three applications – The President’s Promise, Rising Lion and the Fast Begin Grant.

“Cedar Hill ISD is grateful for this glorious partnership,” CHISD Superintendent Dr. Gerald Hudson mentioned. “Dr. Mark Rudin and the management group at A&M-Commerce are dedicated to rising academic alternatives for students and workers in Cedar Hill ISD.”

The President’s Promise covers the remaining stability of any tuition for 15 credit score hours every semester for as much as 4 educational years for first yr college students and for as much as two years for switch college students (summer time phrases and non-A&M Commerce hours aren’t included). A&M-Commerce will even present students in this program steerage from A&M-Commerce advisors, mentors, college and workers whose work is devoted to scholar success.
