Legendary baseball author Peter Gammons earned his manner into the Corridor of Disgrace Friday by calling Georgia’s Republican governor a KKK member. Gov. Brian Kemp signed election reform into legislation in March, prompting an insidious backlash and Main League Baseball to pull this year’s All-Star Game out of the Peach State.

Frothing-at-the-mouth leftists are in overdrive condemning Gov. Kemp and Republicans as “racist” for his or her efforts to guarantee voting integrity. President Joe Biden even joined the refrain of fascists demanding that baseball stick it to Georgia for making an attempt to guard elections from fraud.

Gammons, 75, lined baseball for the Boston Globe for many years and has labored as an analyst for ESPN and the Main League Baseball community. He’s a three-time winner of the Nationwide Sportswriter of the 12 months award and obtained a baseball Corridor of Fame honor in 2005.

This shameful tweet by Gammons (who’s seen above in file photo), although, is worthy solely of condemnation, deserving of Corridor of Disgrace classification:

The novel Left is pushing onerous on the false narrative that Georgia’s new election legislation will promote racism, and Gammons swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

To Gammons, Gov. Kemp is somebody who, below the quilt of darkness, wears Ku Klux Klan clothes. He’s allegedly canceling the voting rights of minorities – when he has finished no such factor.

Rob Manfred, the cowardly commissioner of baseball who’s permitting Democrats and woke firms to name the photographs for his trade, is a forward-thinking woke “progressive”. By cravenly following the woke crowd, he’s making an attempt to swim in opposition to the Georgia Republican tide and do one thing brave. That is Gammons’ flawed, inflammatory considering.

In the meantime, Gov. Kemp is – in accordance with Gammons — residing a warped existence in a pre-Civil Warfare time of authorized slavery. And loving it.

Manfred and Gammons simply moved baseball to the entrance of the wokeball listing. They’re giving People much more purpose to turn off the sports and watch “My 600-pound Life,” skilled wrestling and different mundane tv packages that bested professional sports activities viewing in current months.
